Our aim at TransmissionUK is to bring free complementary healthcare to people with life-limiting/life-threatening conditions. We offer courses of treatment for any complementary therapy that may benefit a person’s condition. The power of touch should never be underestimated when considering a person’s healing and therapies such as massage, reflexology, acupressure and relaxation can offer wonderful complements and alternatives for a person’s life, health and well-being.
The current statistic of the World Health Organization (WHO) is that 80% of disease in the Western world is due to stress. When a person is treated through the caring and disciplined power of touch from a complementary healthcare professional the benefits can be manifold, working wonders on the mind and emotions, the body, and a person’s energy. Complementary medicine dates back thousands of years and we believe that it is an essential missing ingredient in today’s treatment of disease.
We offer grants to any individual, group of people or any project that we feel aims to alleviate suffering by means of natural medicine. We offer complementary treatments to children and adults with life-limiting/life-threatening conditions such as autism, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, cancer, leukemia, behavioural problems and/or learning difficulties. We also provide treatments for the elderly in the community and assist in any way we can those challenged with any long-term condition whatsoever.
We hope to integrate the vast knowledge of natural forms of health and healing into the public domain so as to expand people’s knowledge and awareness of the many forms of healing available to them alongside traditional modern medicine. We want people to have more choice and education when considering what may help them heal, or otherwise ease the conditions they are living with on a daily basis.

I have just be diagnosed with terminal cancer of the kidney and spine which has also caused me to be disabled from the chest down losing all mobility all in just 6 weeks.
I am interested in having massage as i am now learning to use a wheel chair and this causes me pain and stiffness due to the new muscles i am using.
Please let me know how i maybe able to get support for this from a grant from you.
